On Especially the Preaching we meet preachers of God’s Word and through simple, honest interviews, shine a light on their work—their calling, their struggles, their joys. We aim to encourage preachers, those who wish to preach, and those who want to understand the preacher’s life. This is gospel ministry, not in the high places, but in the quiet corners where Christ’s kingdom grows strong.

Brian Cosby

Brian was called to Wayside PCA in April 2012 after serving churches in Alabama and Georgia. He is an adjunct professor of historical theology at Reformed Theological Seminary, Atlanta, and at Ligonier's Reformation Bible College in Sanford, Florida. He holds degrees from Samford University (B.A.), Beeson Divinity School (M.Div.), and the Australian College of Theology (Ph.D.).

He is the author of over a dozen books. And Brian enjoys reading, carpentry, hunting, and fishing. He and his wife, Ashley, have three children and live on a small farm.
